Ten veterans who are survivors of the Siege of Leningrad received certificates for new apartments from St Petersburg Governor.
According to G. Poltavchenko, today veterans do not have to wait for new housing for ages, they get it as soon as possible. In recent years, St Petersburg authorities expanded the categories of citizens who can obtain new housing for free. Now all veterans who live in communal flats for over 10 years have this right.
