According to the experts, about 32% of luxury property prefer apartments which cost more than € 750 000 (50 million rubles) and 25% of buyers – apartments with a price tag of € 540 000 – 750 000 (35-50 million rubles). Previous year, most buyers were interested in apartments at the price below € 390 000 (25 million rubles).
The most part of deals in the luxury property sector are three-bedroom apartments (42%). But comparing with 2015, the demand for two-bedroom apartments with the total area of 100-150 square meters and more spacious apartments increased significantly. Experts think that such changes took place because the average age of luxury housing buyers increased. So 73% of buyers are over the age of 40 years and 43 % of them are over the age of 50.
